What is Homes Cabinet Gives Back?
Homes Cabinet Gives Back is a community initiative to select one family for a complimentary kitchen remodel. The goal is to create a more functional, welcoming kitchen that makes a meaningful difference in everyday life.
Can I apply for myself or nominate another family?
Yes. The application allows you to apply for your own family or nominate someone else. If nominating another family, speak with them before sharing their personal information, photos or video, and review the consent requirements in the application.
How is the recipient selected?
The application states that selection considers need, project feasibility, location, property eligibility and other relevant factors. Final selection requires verification of home ownership, an onsite property evaluation and agreement on the final project scope. Applying does not guarantee selection.
What do I need to submit?
Prepare your contact details, the property address and ZIP code, the family’s story, and an explanation of how a new kitchen would help. Upload 5–10 kitchen photos from different angles: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB each and 20 MB total. Provide a 30–60 second video as an MP4, MOV or WebM upload up to 30 MB, or share a video link. A simple phone video is welcome.
Do I need a Google account to apply?
No. Use the application popup on this website. Your application and uploads are saved privately for Homes Cabinet’s program review, separate from sales inquiries. No Google sign-in is required.
Is there a fee, and what does the remodel include?
No purchase or payment is required to apply. The selected project’s final scope must be agreed with Homes Cabinet. Work or items outside the approved scope are not included unless Homes Cabinet agrees in writing. Do not assume that every appliance, trade or improvement is included.
Which areas qualify, and when are applications due?
Homes Cabinet serves Greater Atlanta, but the current application does not list a specific eligible service boundary, closing date or selection date. Contact Homes Cabinet to confirm these details before preparing your application.
Will my story or renovation be shared publicly?
The application includes permission to review submitted information and media. It also includes a required media release for selected applicants covering names, stories, images and renovation footage for marketing. Read the full consent and program agreement before submitting. Marketing email and text consent is optional and is not required to apply or be selected.
